We will be holding our first social event of the season, a quiz evening, on Saturday 18 May. The evening will follow the same successful formula as previous years and we will need volunteers to prepare food and to help in the kitchen and behind the bar. Please put the date in your diaries and further details and reminders will follow.
As you read this email, our outfield mower has been sent off to be repaired. If it can be repaired it will cost hundreds of pounds but if it can't be repaired we will need to spend thousands to buy a second hand replacement. Social evenings like our quiz evening are a really important source of revenue for the club, so please make a big effort to attend and please invite friends and family.
