Dear member,
With the season all but over for another year, I would like to thank everyone who has helped the club throughout the season; as a committee member, player, scorer, umpire, groundsman, chauffeur, general helper and family member of any of the aforementioned.The club couldn't exist without you.
One important job remains, which is to 'put the square to bed'. This sounds quite pleasant but it actually involves a lot of hard work which is made much easier if we have a lot of helpers. No particular skills, experience or tools are required but if you haven't done it before you will learn something and will get an insight into the work required to maintain a cricket square.
If you can help, please meet at the ground at 11.00 am on Sunday 29 September.
