Kimble Cricket Club

Hi,

On Wednesday 12 August we have organised a match against Mavericks CC who are a touring team from the United Arab Emirates. They play at a reasonable standard and it promises to be good hard cricket game and an opportunity to showcase our club.

The main thing is to make sure is that we give them a good game of cricket. With this in mind I am asking all playing members to let me know if they are available for this fixture because I anticipate that many of our regular players may not be available for a midweek game.

The game will start at 2pm which will mean that those of you who are working will only need to take a half day's leave and we will probably play 40 overs win or lose.

We also want to provide two umpires and a scorer so please let me know if you are available to do this.

Finally we need to provide a cricket tea and volunteers to do this would also be very welcome.

So in summary, please let me know as soon as possible if you:

(a) would like to play
(b) would like to umpire or score
(c) would be prepared to make the cricket tea
