Kimble 1sts made a promising start to the season after a rocky start, where they found themselves 16-3 in fewer than 10 overs. This allowed a steady partnership to progress between Brad Rose who made a solid 91 and Bob Whitehead, 12. Michael Stackhouse added impetuous at the end of the innings with a quick fire 49, before holing out in the deep, ending the innings on 237-8 declared.
Several heavy showers hampered Kimble’s progress, however some clever bowling from Captain Adrian Rose, who collected figures of 3-34 enabled Kimble to claim a winning draw with Thame finishing on 138-5.
