Match report Kimble won the final game of the season with a comfortable 87 run victory over the Prince of Wales. After wining the toss and electing to bat Kimble where 1 down after 3 balls of the game with Peter Spinks going for 0, frustrated by the lack pace. Alex Ross held the innings together with wickets constantly falling around him, finally falling for 43. Kimble ended on 144 after a patient knock from veteran Ady Rose who was the last man out for 30. After tea Stuart Skeggs put Kimble in command with a double wicket maiden in the third over. After another wicket maiden from Skeggs, Princes of Wales successfully reviewed a caught behind off John Dumbarton, hot spot showed that the ball hit the arm of the batsman. John Dumbarton then took two wickets in his final over. Kimble then turned to the 1st and 2nd team wicket keepers for some unconventional bowling from the two Pete's, who took two wickets each. Princes of Wales ended 61 all out from 26.1 overs with PC Plod (Richard list) top scoring with 19.
