Match report Another soft slow pitch this weekend but Kimble won the toss and had a bowl first, which proved the right decision. Stuart S and John D opened the bowling and after 8 overs Thame were 18 for 5. Thame continued to struggle to score runs quickly but had a couple of small partnerships which were aided by too many wides and a horrendous over from Del Boy but Alex R and Stuart S came on to take the last three wickets and bowl Thame out for 107.
The pitch was still slow when Kimble batted and Arun struggled to middle anything but was still picking up boundaries whilst Graham Earwicker for Thame was getting some nice turn and causing the batsman some problems. Kimble's run rate mirrored that of Thame's except we weren't losing wickets, a couple of dropped catches helped. At 88 for 6 things could have been tricky but Jordan P and Tony S saw Kimble home for the second win of he season.
