Match report The seconds secured their fourth win of the season with a seven wicket win over Shipton 4ths. Shipton got off to a reasonable start but lost wickets in clusters but still looked on for a reasonable score until Arul N and Alex R tied them down, taking 7 wickets between them, Arul ending up with 5 for 34. Nathan P came on to bowl but he only got 2 balls as the Shipton number 11 was run out after going back to ground his bat when he realised it was a short run.
In reply Arun S and Tony S did not look in any trouble and enjoyed an opening stand of 92, Arun going just short of his 50, LBW to Shipton's young leg spinner. It was left to Pete D and Jordan (not out) P to see the game out.
