Match report Kimble Rolled over by Brackley
A real poor display from Kimble left their good start to the season way back behind them as they showed a lacklustre batting display. Before that, it had began well with a early wicket coming from good bowling by James Russel. The bowlers were keeping things tight, not allowing the opposition to get away from them. However, standards began to slip in the last few overs of the innings, with a easy catch being put down by Ben Mooney due to a lack of concentration. This gave Brackley the momentum going into the tea break. They came out after the break full of energy, while the Kimble openers lacked their usual spark. They quickly found themselves 2 down, with both of them falling to the same bowler. After this, they never recovered, with some ridiculously poor and lazy batting gifting Brackley their first win of the season. Kimble are going to have to up their game for a big double header against Great Brickhill next weekend.
