Match report With the regular report writer away sunning himself in Mexico but following the game on his mobile, today's scorer took on the task. Another stressful week trying to get teams out saw Danny B go to Oxford with a different team. He lost the toss and Kimble were invited to bat. Danny B (12) and Bob W (31) were steady against an accurate attack, Bob scoring the bulk of his runs through the gulley / cover area, and they took the score to 40 before Danny was caught at slip for 12. After that wickets fell at regular intervals as the East Oxford bowlers kept the pressure on and nobody was able to hang around. Kimble's cause not helped by a fielder clearly picking the ball up over the boundary but carrying on and Alex R heading the ball to the boundary only for the umpire to call a dead ball, this was after he did a Bob dab for 4. Kimble were eventually bowled out for 124 off 46.5 overs.

In reply East Oxford lost a wicket in the second over John D taking a good caught and bowled after that there was little joy for the Kimble bowlers as Ali Shah and Johannus Jacobus got after the bowlers. Usman K picking up the second wicket with the score on 86 but it didn't take long for East Oxford to reach their target of 124, hitting the winning runs in the 18th over.
