Match report Kimble plummeted back into the relegation zone after a shocking performance away at Brackley.
After the stand in captain lost the toss for the 2nd week in a row Kimble were asked to bat on a lively wicket and they struggled to adapt to conditions.
The top 3 were soon back in shed moaning and groaning but then Sam and Buddika battled well to see them through to 32-3 off 20 overs at the rain break. After then being instructed to keep things ticking over after the break, they were both out within 2 overs, sparking a massive collapse.
At 42-8, the away fans were ready to head home, but then a solid innings from Jordan enabled his team to be bowled out for 78.
A mini session before tea saw kimble’s poor habits continue with some lacklustre bowling, which lacked any venom or consistency.
After tea things improved slightly as they managed to pick up one wicket to gain a solitary point.
They now move onto a crunch match at Dinton next week, knowing anything less than a win could see an end to their stay in division 4.Returning captain Dan will hope his side can find a level of performance that hasn’t been seen all season.
