Match report Kimble Twos remain unbeaten after another draw, this time against top of the table Westbury. With Mark T skippering the side, after Derek P turned down the chance, he won the toss and put Westbury in to bat. After our opening game we all knew how Westbury would bat and Kimble did well to restrict them to 216 for their 45 overs, only their skipper T.Boardman and Z.McCombe making sizeable contributions. Once again the wickets were shared out amongst the bowlers with only Mark T and Matt T not picking up a wicket.
In reply Kimble lost an early wicket when Babar went for 0, this brought in Buddika S who batted through the remaining 44 overs to finish on 62 not out aided in the run chase by Arun S (17) and Nathan P (19) plus 26 extras. For once Alex R failed with the bat going for a duck, with wickets falling regularly victory was soon out of reach but thanks to Buddika and Matthew T (7 not out) a draw was secured.
