Match report Kimble turned up for their final game of the season unaware that they were going to be thrust into a 2 match t20 series. John won the toss and elected to bat first. Alex ross got the innings off to a great start, hitting 3 6s, while Mike batted patiently for his 50.
The openers did the damage and were supported from some late hitting from Shaky Tone as Kimble posted a formidable 166-4.
After the Kimble opening bowlers had completed their spells, the game was pretty much over, with the mighty Mo finishing the match by getting 4 wickets.
This meant Kimble took a 1-0 lead in the Stewkley recreation ground trophy sponsored by Justine's flapjacks.
