Match report Kimble moved 30 points clear of Bledlow Ridge after an almighty team effort against Cropredy.
After a delayed start, Kimble won the toss and had a bat. However they got off to a very poor start, and found themselves 14-2. Jack and Brad then set about calming the innings down, before Brad unleashed a cheeky little onslaught, hitting 4 sixes in the process. Tizzard then outdid this by smacking 6 huge sixes, as Kimble gained momentum. With Jack anchoring the innings nicely, the other players could play with freedom, and Kimble were able to declare one over early on 236-8.
Tea was tremendous, giving the Kimble players a lot of energy for their fielding stint. Stu got an early wicket but the Cropredy batsmen then began to find the boundary regularly. The spinners then came on and reduced the run rate for a bit. The game was in the balance as runs were flowing but the odd wicket came just at the right time. The seamers came back on and bowled very well, with Jordan Price taking an amazing one handed catch on the boundary. The last wicket could not be got but Kimble gained a valuable 19 points.
