Match report Kimble’s season ended with a run fest at home to Kingston Bagpuize. They won the toss again and had a bowl but could never get enough control with the ball. The sun was beaming down strongly making it a nice day for the spectators. Kingston batted well and smacked a tough looking score of 278-4.
Kimble got off to a great start in the run chase, with Pete and Alex finding the boundary regularly. Alex found some form late in the season, hitting an impressive 90, but it was Tizzard’s whirlwind knock of 52, which included six 6s that got the crowd chanting his name long into the night. After all of this chaos, Kimble managed to hang on for a draw at 260-9. With the season now over, all thoughts now turn to building for next season, as the transfer window opens on Monday morning. Bradley will be hoping to hang on to all his players, while also strengthening slightly as his side look to push for promotion no matter what division they end up in.
