Match report Kimble sundays started the season with a loss to White Waltham. After Alex lost the toss and we stuck in the field on a baking bank holiday weekend, J Dumbarton (0-8) and M Travers (0-24) bolwed well with good line and length and got us off to an okay start Neither really troubling the openers. S Skeggs (1-37) bowled well in the heat and picked up the first wicket. J Whitehead (1-41) and R Merriman (1-23) caused the batsman a few problems both picking a wicket up each. J Price (1-31) bowled well at the death and also picked up thier opener who looked on for a ton.

Tea came and went (much too early for our top order batsmen) with alex being bowled for 0 in the first over in came brad who also went for 0, then came the much anticipated returning innings of Stu Mcrae who was coming out of retirement after 5 years away. He eged to gully for 0 meaning Kimble were 3 for 3 off 3 overs. J Price was the next victim of Scarborough being caught at mid wicket for 2. James whitehead batted well and steadied the ship for kimble. J Dumbarton came in a biffed a 6 and eged a single and went for 7 then in came stu skeggs who batted well and took the game to white waltham and gave kimble a respectable score with stu scoring 66 himself.

Kimble will be looking to get back to winning ways against Whitchurch in two weeks time.
