Match report Kimble started the 2018 campaign we a hard fought draw. Asked to bat on a slow uneven pitch they were soon in trouble at 36 for 4. Scoring runs was difficult on a slow outfield, which restricted the boundaries. But Buddika (32) and Raja (20) got things back on track before a quick fire 46 not out from Gaza saw the innings finish on 146 for 9. In reply Bledlow Ridge made steady progress. always just above the required run rate. Having reduced them to 41 for 2, wickets were then hard to fine but the bowlers kept at it and eventually the break through was made and wickets started to fall. Although, they overs in hand Bledlow decided against going fo the win and batted out the 45 overs to finish on 132 for 8.
